My current DIY project Hello! Today I got a huuge urge to do some work around the house and looking at my garage door I realized something: it looks so plain and empty! So I decided to start my quest for improving stuff around the house starting with my garage door.
I have a 2-car garage doors, 3 sections each. They're white and very plain with no handle (the push too lift ones). I figured, why not replace my garage doors with something a little bit nicer, you know? So I went to Home Depot and looked at some garage doors they had.
I was not very satisfied as they were pretty plain and the style was not exactly what I was looking for. So then I did what any other person would do - look online for answers. To my surprise, it turned out a lot better than I expected.
I came across thousands of designs and the prices were pretty astonishing as well. Hardwood
garage doors prices with windows and accessories (handles and lighting) just a bit under $1000 was very, very inexpensive. I remember these things to cost almost twice what they do right now, so I think this was the best time to get my garage door.
